Well…I am always drinking a protein shake (400 ml milk + 40g pure protein) after I come home from fitness, but I don’t really see any BIG effects on my body since I started doing this.
i am a baseball pitcher and understanding that working the core is a very benificial factor in pitching performance, I came to realize that no matter how hard i work my abdominals, i still can not process toned lower abdominal abs. Is my love handles from, a dietary problem, a genetic problem, a workout problem, or all of the above?
I go to high school, and so I don’t bring my lunch. So is a Chic-fil-a sandwich, and apple juice good for lunch???
Hey Jeff, love the vids. However, I’m pretty underweight for a person my size. My problem is generally more in the gaining weight department than losing it. My question is whether or not I should avoid fatty substances like whole milk, or if those kind of things would help me gain the muscle weight I need? Thanks.
I’m sorry but theres no way you can eat as much as you want even with the right kinds of food; maybe if you want to bulk up. But if you want slim down you need to take in less calories and burn more
@shaan635 Nope protein shakes or creatine won’t stunt your growth so you won’t get taller but you don’t need protein shakes. Maybe after work out if you want and have afford but for gaining muscles you should eat real food and not shakes.
@SPQRKABAH Yeah most people drink a protein shake afte working out cause you need protein fast after and like 30 minutes or one hour after that drink you can eat a regular meal. Have fat like nuts or carbs like dextrose or fruits. I prefer carbs with the protein shake.
I am 14 i workout and am very active. my cousion was telling me that i sould drink whey protien sould i strart drinking it and does it have any side effects or will it stunt my growth?

Hey jeff one of my friends does not let me use his microwave because he says it takes away all the nutritional value from the food. Although if you are able to gain weight and maintain a good figure, and also not feel exhausted all day because you don’t have enough nutrition. I think I want to try this i’m 150 pounds and I have went down to 138 and went to 165 in 1 month and that was with a good meal plan. also eating immediately after each workout seems to have had a big impact on muscle recove
Hey Jeff I would just like to say how much your videos are really helping me out im really beginning to look and feel much better since I’ve been following you training, one thing I’d like to ask you is if you are trying to tone your muscles more than build them, is it better to train with lower weights and high reps or would you say train heavier?

@mgmtennis23 there’s a TON of fat in ice cream.. hence the cream part and not to mention some ice cream has little bits of candy or food colouring for a variety of flavours.. as jeff said stick with chocolate milk and protein, but keep the carbs flowing.
