@mikehill01 What the heck did you say that for you jerk? I mean why is it called a meal relpacement bar???? I’m pretty new to the bars so all you had to say was they are mainly used for a snack. You didn’t have to insult me intellegence!

Hello, what are the boxes in the chart for the 3 different levels? Like protein and carbs? Are they the number of servings per day?

@22shroomster Holy cow.. if you’re not fat then why on earth would you want to replace a meal with a supplement bar? Any kind of nutrition bar are good for snacks not for an entire meal…

I’m confused on whether I should be taking the whey protein powder to make a shake or use the meal replacement shake mix or both. How should I be using these two products?

I didn’t help me at all. I selected the portion approach but I still don’t know how much I should eat. I’m not that smart. All I know is that I’m at level 3 and I want to use the portion approach. 9 servings of protein is how many eggs and how many chicken breasts??

i’m 19 years old and weigh 182 lbs and I stand 6’5″ tall so it is safe to say I am not fat. however, would you recomend this nutrition guide for me? Also are the p90x peak performance bars a good substitue for a meal?

@TheBigSteak If you are going to do the workout.. you should be following something… this work out is very different than most and you need some extra calories to maintain the level of intensity.

Why do beans count as a carb? Like with the dietary fiber added in they don’t even have that many! And they’re good protein….So why aren’t they?

@utalledo What I found that worked best was to do the calculations for the Calories from the book. Seemed weird sense most weight loss program have you reduce calories so low. When you realize that the program is so intense you need some extra cals to burn it makes sense. The Phase 1 is really to get a jump on droppin’ fat quickly! I found was that I had to increase the carbs a little because I was “bonking” mid way thru the workout. Start with calories recommended go for a week – see how U feel

ok, question question, if I just started, so I need to do te phase1? or I need to do the math and calculate my body weight x10 = etc…and go through the phase 2 if I am at more than 2016 cal? this is what is getting me confused.

@Alexsteen Yeah the Fatburner is pretty intense – I could not stay on it long.
Let me know what you find for Phase 2.

Thanks for this! I bought my copy on craigslist and it’s pretty incomplete. I didn’t even know there was a “portions” approach to the p90x diet plan. I thought the only way to go was the meal plan which was obviously pretty overwhelming to follow. I alo found myself bonking like crazy trying to follow the fat shredder. I didn’t have the energy to even study for school. So I’m gonna try to get a legit copy somewhere and follow the phase 2 plan.

You need to correct spelling in the title of the video…its not professional to have these type of errors.

Hey will, you recommned for me to use promax diet protein shakes +maxi-efa from maximuscle for the first time? The plan is breakfast only shake+yougurt, launch some kinda low fat chicken veggies or tuna veggies, after 3 hours like another shake+grapefruit+banana, and dinners is like some low fat meat, some beef like+ veggies, am i right on this stuff?
