@924142707 The key is to learn from your mistakes, not just “ask for forgiveness”. I can speak from MY experience as a Christian at least and I’m telling it as I saw it. I was “misguided” when I was a Christian and I saw the truth with my very own eyes as I went further into the religion than majority of the Christians I knew did. If you read the Bible, you’ll find it a lot and ask your typical Christian follower and TRY to question God and see what happens.

@Mandilore I can not speak to the experience of all Christians at all times, nor do I believe you can. “Christianity” has helped to create some of the most brilliant minds of all time, so with much respect you’re are either historical ignorant or simply misguided. People make dumb decisions and do wrong. “Christians” are people, so yes, we mess up too. The difference should be however that we, through our hope in Christ, pick ourselves up again and seek forgiveness where needed. : )

@924142707 the problem is because when you’re a Christian, you’re taught one main keywords and that is to “follow”. To think is to question and to question is blasphemy so that why so many Christians make so many dumb decisions because they are just taught to follow, not to lead, not even themselves!

It’s crazy because the scientific community didn’t really accept this theory until the 80s. In Jack Lalane’s time this kind of stuff was majorly considered to be touchy feely nonsense. Lalane is easily one of the most unappreciated people in American history.

People want God to give them everything w/o effort . But the truth is that even when people are given blessings they waste them or misuse them. I use to wonder why God didn’t just give every body money, then I realized that when people do get money or when countries discover great resources that people waste all of it or misuse for sin and corruption. God is not the problem. We are.

Jack is proof that God exists. Taking care of the body and acknowledging the good Lord. Two keys for a better life. People say why does God allow bad things to happen? Well it is us that causes bad things to happen. Just ask Jack the next time you see him, hes 95 and still going strong.

@diwr It never stopped being the social norm to talk about ‘God in conversation’.
The very reason this country was founded was so we would have freedom OF religion~
    Not freedom FROM religion,
so please be so kind as to be respectful of that foundational American Culture fact, right & Law. God in in our founding documents, on our currency, all over our national monuments & engraved on the walls of congress & supreme court. Thank you & God bless you & your family with health, peace & happiness :D
