Hi, in order for you to see your ab muscles, you have to eliminate the excess fat. It’s important that you also consider doing some cardio exercise to burn calories and excess fat. This will help you achieve the result you are looking for with your abs. By all means continue your ab workouts, as they will continue to tone and strengthen your abs.

@butterflycandei The biggest factor in your abs being visible is diet. If you want to get a nice set of abs, start watching what you eat. Pay no attention to “low fat” stuff, the culprit is carbs.

You sound like you’re not far off from your goal, so just cut out a little bit every day, while exercising a bit more. For example, two cans of soda per day is 300 calories, enough to get a good start on weight loss. Crunches aren’t enough either, do sit ups, pull ups, etc, and lift weights.

Hi, I’ve been doing crunches at home for a while and got a two pack. I don’t exactly have a gut but I would like to be flatter. I want to know that if i continue my crunches and the exercises in this vid, would i get a flat stomach by January? Or do i have to change my diet as well because I honestly don’t really worry about what i eat. I don’t over eat and I hardly drink anything besides water.

@YouTips4U it was only about 90kg to 60kg… but i think the “flabby” parts might still just be fat? maby i should lose more weight? i was focusing on weight training and stuff but maby i should lose more and these things would go away?

Hi, I have always had a small waist and I work to maintain it with exercise. I did have a much larger waist when I was pregnant. After my son was born, it took me about 1 1/2 years to get my small waist exactly back to pre-pregnancy size.

I notice that when you do your tri dips you don’t go all the way down and when you do your bb curls you don’t extend your arms all the way down. Is there a reason for this?
I’ve been told to dip as far as you can go( I know this can hurt your shoulders) and to extend your arms to feel the full range. thanx

I’ve tried this workout for the first time yesterday and you are right, it really fries your arms! Just a few questions: Is it ok if I use dumbbells instead of the barbell? My barbell is weird and it takes too long to change the weight (you have to unscrew some little thing, put the weights on, and screw it back on). Also, is there a way I can increase the amount of maximum push ups I can do? I fail at around 25-28, and that’s horrible for my age (I’m 15). Anyways, great video. It really helped!

When you do the curls, you’re supposed to time them so that you go up for 3 seconds and down for 3 seconds and not move your elbow. Therefore, this will be longer than 20 minutes probably.

@samirh68 Dude the most important thing you should know is not to take any medical advice from Youtube. You’ll get dozens of people arguing for and against weight training at your age, both sides will have examples. Your best bet would be to consult your doctor, not the hordes on the internet. You can certainly exercise but weight training may not be a great idea.
