It’s all in how they play with statistics, specifically within the cancer industry to consider a patient “cured” and even more specifically having to do with the myth of the 5 year cure rate using relative statistics and the strict definition of “cured”. They consider a person cured of caner IF they survive for 5 years, if the cancer comes back and the patient dies, they still consider the treatment a “success”.
