@isaschloegl I think the health issue should be kept separate from the ethics issue – because people tend to think the health claims are just propaganda for animal welfare.

I like to focus on it being natural, thus being good across the board: win-win-win.

@rhynocrisy Oh the books are at 2 minutes 9 seconds on video. So go buy them now! Fructose (fruit sugar) fails to provide a balanced meal and will make someone who has limited exercise fat. If you really care to lose weight the only correct answer is portion control, balanced nutrition, vitamins and the less you exercise the more portion control, that simple! For healthy eating go wiki cholesterol, fat cells, sodium chloride, protien and carbohydrates. Be careful of quacks the preach unbalanced

This is good news! we can all wait till we are 65 before we need to worry about it since we can reverse our whole life crappy eating in less than nine months. Bull, there is much money to suck out of a 60% over weight USA with a book (soon to come I am sure). He Said Quote I dont do dairy I drink all my milk (contradiction). Protein powder tells me the diet fails to provide the essentials! BULL CRAP! Setting all the people who struggle with weight issues with a dust collector book. Right2Say

@KaseyAkira; There is definitely a lot wrong with fish oil. Health wise, concentrations of heavy metals (and soon plastic) in aquatic life are becoming very dangerous. Secondly, and more importantly, the way fish are “harvested” from the ocean is a process that is akin to taking a bulldozer to a forest to catch a deer. Please check out National Geographic’s series on the fishing industry. Thirdly, as a vegan I think it is wrong to harm others when alternatives are available and so readily too.

    November 26th, 2010 at 17:29 | #13

@cbrowncolors There is nothing wrong with fish oil. It’s like saying “NO MORE VITAMIN C! IT CAUSES CANCER!” It’s so unfathomably dumb that it’s almost surreal.

This is so ridiculous, and its just plain sad when DOCTORS get on TV and spout off such nonsense like this. Health gurus, maybe. But doctors??? So much is wrong with what they say that I wouldn’t even know where to BEGIN correcting them. I could turn debunking the nonsense in this vid into a day long seminar.

Absolute bullshit. Their license to practice should be pulled before they start selling snake water (cuz oils are out LOL) out the back of a covered wagon.

I agree on the water and drink Kangen (TM) water made by the SD-501 Enagic machine. It’s great. Also, Bill Clinton’s Doctor, Dr. Esselstyn takes Juice Plus+ which is 17 fruits and veggies, grains in a convenient capsule and most likely the protien shake Clinton drinks is from Juice Plus also.. haven’t verified it though.. it’s identity preserved, non GMO soy and rice protein based … I start my day with it and it’s wonderful…

My LOVE in Chicago (I live in Los Angeles) turned me onto this vegan life style. I’ve started to do this, and I love it. I have found that I really don’t have to eat meat.

Both of my x-wives have switched to a vegan diet. One is an insulin dependent diabetic, who has reduced her insulin intake because of her new diet. She lost several pounds (25+) and her vision improved. The other lost 15+ pounds, her vision improved.

My second ex-wife has introduced me to a vegan diet, and I love it.

Well done Clinton that you finally turned over to some REAL specialists in health and then letting u know about it :)
    Allthough I must mention….
Ionized alkaline water works exactly the same way – The key is to alkalize your body. But since this is drinking water, the effects are more superior and it hydrates your body about 6-7 times more than conventional ordinary water.
The FOOD is now recognized – NOW it is time to recognize our WATER ;)

So good to see someone high profile spread the good news about the benefits of a plant based diet! It does even more good when these foods are eaten in their most natural form: raw and organic!

Whole Food Options Exist, but may not be available in your local grocery store. I get over 15,000 ORAC Units of Anti-oxidant protection every single day. I am never sick and maintain a perfect weight as a result. With 68percent of America over-weight, you may want to find out what I have learned and also share it as a part-time business! I have three friends off of heart medication!!! (866-510-2282). Note that Clinton stresses vegetables and fruits! That’s the key!

DONT DRINK soy milk…drink coconut milk or almond milk…actually almond milk is all irridiated in this country thanks to oversensitive food safety ppl which sucks..id say coconut is the best regardless of its high saturated fat, it’s a completely different kind of fat.

Soy milk has estrogenic properties so men especially should steer clear and btw it is GENETICALLY MODIFIED…which presents a host of other new problems. The VAST majority of corn and soy is GMO, other cty’s wont TOUCH IT

It might sound like a cliche, but I sincerely believe veganism would cure most of the world’s problems. There literally isn’t an area of your life that isn’t affected.

Pork chop ham red meat and can foods? Are you kidding me? This guy is eating his life away!! He reminds me of my thick cousin who drinks so much of that powdery stuff and thought he could out muscle everyone. Well he got his ass kicked by a tall skinny Egyptian guy on broad st. My cousin ran in the shop and got the strap. We had to beg him to put it away. That shit was funny as hell my moms nearly pee in her pants.
