thanks for your inspirational words- Iam also the kind of person who is working out very hard for special events- and at the moment I have to work out again 2h/day just to lose the weight I gained from overeating just some days- when I got my ideal weight back- I will try to be constant just to avoid this really intensive and hard work out times- so thank you. this was just the right advice at the right time- I did not really had the insight ;)

@xoBeautySparkzxo It’s not. She just drinks it straight and doesn’t drink a ton of it.

  16. canascot02
    November 4th, 2010 at 11:54 | #16

@xoBeautySparkzxo yeah, do you know how they decaffeineate coffee. they use dichloromethane or ethyl acetate to extract up to 97% of the caffeine. So I will keep drinking regular coffee and not before a work out since caffeine dehydrates you, unless it’s decaffeineated with the only know chemical free method, the Swiss Water Process, which is fairly uncommon. Theres only one facility in the world, although pioneered in Switzerland in the 30′s, it’s in Canada now.

    November 4th, 2010 at 13:45 | #18

@Steve1827 true, but caffeine dehydrates you, so it’s the last thing you want to have before a work out.

  19. canascot02
    November 4th, 2010 at 14:29 | #19

@HumanMageBreh Yeah, caffeine dehydrates you, and so does working out so the last thing you want to have before a workout is an energy drink or coffee.

Steve1827 is correct straight black coffee can be very beneficial for you. It is very great for metablosims but in moderation, You dont want to be getting a venti mocha frappacino with whipcream thats just loaded with sugar. Coffee time = great times :D

@MikePostDrums I tone up , incredibly fast, and Pilates works wonders on my body type . So, that combined with a healthy diet , toned me in days .

  30. MikePostDrums
    November 4th, 2010 at 19:00 | #30

@adribabyx ‘toned me nicely in days’. Sorry babe, but it’s all in your head. Results don’t show up ’till after weeks of excercise.

  31. MikePostDrums
    November 4th, 2010 at 19:17 | #31

@impyshmimpy Haha wow, you typed exactly what I was thinking. It’s so annoying when people say they want to get ‘toned’ and don’t have any muscle to begin with. Toning is the process of building (a little) muscle and lowering your bodyfat percentage, people!

  32. MikePostDrums
    November 4th, 2010 at 19:30 | #32

@chelseakickass1 Then that’s your own fault. You either have delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) which will go away if you keep excercising or you really did fuck something up which, again, is your own fault. If you feel any sharp pain during exercise, STOP. A burn is good, a sharp pain is bad. How did you manage to fuck your shoulder up anyway?

  33. chelseakickass1
    November 4th, 2010 at 19:43 | #33

i would not, recommend this video. it fucked my shoulder up. i cant even lift it without a sharp pain tearing threw my whole shoulder.

  34. impyshmimpy
    November 4th, 2010 at 20:34 | #34

@ilove63000 Toning is a dumb term that carries a lot of implications that only serve to confuse people. If you want to make your muscles more ‘toned’, you need to build muscle and lose fat. This does neither of these things well at all.

  35. ilove63000
    November 4th, 2010 at 21:17 | #35

@impyshmimpy i think its meant fore for toning and not burning but im not an expert

@ThePintoAce Weightlifting can also improve flexibility, believe it or not. This lady has absolutely no idea what she is doing.

    @syzygy271
Pilates is actually rreally good for the body.
A lot of ppl just work out to gain muscle. but this is good for flexibility.
Even Vitor Belfort (MMA fighter) does Pilate

@syzygy271 actually , i did her 5 workouts on the dvd , this being one of the ten minute workouts , and it actually toned me nicely in days.

  43. syzygy271
    November 5th, 2010 at 02:00 | #43

Don’t listen to this ladies, this ‘workout’ will do next to nothing for your body.

God, this killed my arms! Love the encouragement between the reps; without that, I probably would have dropped my weights and given up halfway through!
Great job! Please keep up with excellent work! Plus, now that I’ve gotten into pilates I can feel for myself how hard it can be. When people do it, it looks a lot like something old people would do, but I find it REALLy works well when you’re trying to tone your muscles! Thanks so Much! :D

It’s very disturbing how the entire female fitness industry is built on misinformation.

This shit isn’t going to do anything for you except burn a miniscule amount of calories.

“I would recommend only using about 2-3 pounds in each hand. We don’t really want to make your shoulders bigger, but rather we really want to TONE and DEFINE and SCULPT them”

Wow. Unfit females attempting to get in shape are without doubt the most retarded human beings on the planet.
